Why is benzylamine not an aromatic compound?

Benzylamine is C6H5CH2NH2 and it is aromatic because there are six sp2 carbons on a planar arrangement. There are three pi bonds with six electrons, so 6=4n+2 and n is found to be 1, which is a valid number. So I am stating again that compounds with a benzene ring are always aromatic. more
