Why is Cubism such an important art movement?
The artists who created Cubism challenged the way people looked at art. By incorporating multiple perspectives, painters forced audiences to consider time as a part of art. By focusing on lines and angles instead of representation, these same painters drew attention to the surface canvas and construction of the art work.
