Chances are, you’ve built against an unstable version of libnids (libnids-1.14 on Solaris in particular). Upgrade to the latest version at http//www.packetfactory.net/Projects/Libnids/, and if you still have problems, rebuild everything with -g and send me a gdb stack backtrace.
