Aerobic exercise is distance and endurance. The food is broken down and Carbohydrates and Fat can be used in the muscle cell to yield its energy which is called ATP. This process is when carbs are broken down into glucose then piruvate then it is used in various chemical reactions to yield its ATP. Aerobic uses Oxygen to help with the chemical reaction and the end product out of ATP is hydrogen which is acidic (Lactic acid) the oxygen grabs the hydrogen which turns it into water then it will sweated out. So food is the basis of the chemical reactions to yeild its ATP whch is used in the muscles for energy.
