Why is Husqvarna 346XP sprocket cover silver?
I have been running my new 346XP almost every day now and have been thinking why did Husqvarna decide to paint the sprocket cover silver gray. The rest of the saw is all orange, so whats with the odd silver color? Then I began thinking about other small saws like these in professional 8 hour, 5 day a week pulpcutting with the paint wore right off the covers right down to the bare metal. The 346XP was designed almost solely for pro pulpcutting with the 6 point limbing technique in mind, which is hell on the saws’ paint. Do any of you think this may be Husqvarnas “commemorative design” to display the true soul of this saw? Willard. P.S. come on you guests from the other sites, I see you lurking here, join up and maybe you have an answer for this. How about you SawTroll you haven’t posted in a while.
