Why is IPv6 Important?
The path forward to a ubiquitously connected society is underway, and IPv6 will play a leading part. Key drivers along this path—and drivers for IPv6 growth—were described by Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, in a business overview mail to employees in the summer of 2004: • PC Market Growth: It took more than 20 years to grow the worldwide base of PC users to more than 600 million.
