Why is it important to regularly synchronize my handheld with iScribe?
Synchronizing your iScribe handheld with iScribe ensures that you receive updates and changes to the formulary and drug databases. Additionally, for eRx users, synchronizing backs up and saves all of your patient data and prescription histories to the iScribe server so that you can access data reports through the password-protected My iScribe website online and so this data is available if your iScribe application is accidentally deleted or your handheld is lost or becomes inoperable. We recommend that you sync your handheld at least weekly. However for security purposes and to ensure accurate clinical information, we require that you sync with the iScribe server at least once every 30 days. If more than 30 days elapse without performing a sync, your application will expire and will not be accessible from your handheld.
