Why is it named Jonta?

The names chosen for products tell some of their unique stories of work towards international peace and stability. Jonta’s father and mother died leaving him to look after his five younger siblings. Radios can reach those, like Jonta, isolated by disease, geography, language, conflict, illiteracy or poverty. Millions of dollars are spent each year to create developmental radio programming, yet the audience may never hear it. There is no electricity supply in most rural areas and the cost of batteries is prohibitive.
