Why is it recommended to test samples after freezing/thawing?

• Especially for high-sensitive assays the effect of freezing/thawing of the sample is often enormous. Based on long-year experience we strongly recommend to establish Imperacer assays using identical sample conditions as expected for your real samples. Treat you spiked sample (for assay development and calibration curve) the same way like your clinical sample, e.g. slow freezing at -20 C after 20 min RT.
