Why is it socially unacceptable for girls to date younger guys?
The truth is, dating someone who is younger is not wrong. You have however answered your own question. Its Highschool, and as such, the High-School mentality prevails, you are in essence, out numbered. If you do date the freshman guy, you will probably get some looks and comments. The question remains, is it worth it to you? Is he worth the recriminations you will have to endure? Even in the adult world, woman get labeled. Older adult women, get labeled, ‘cougars.’ Predatory females who spend their money on younger men, equilivant to ‘Sugar-Daddies’ if you are an older male who dates much younger women. This is not the case with you. I suspect the freshman guy is a very nice person with whom you have something in common; the two of you have connected on some level preceived by the two of you people.
