Why is LCB split into the Orange and Tangerine divisions?

0

LCB’s league boundaries cover such a large demographic area that Little League requires us to play in the Spring season as two separate leagues under one umbrella organization. These two leagues are called the “Orange” and “Tangerine” divisions, and at the beginning of the Spring season each team at each level is selected to be in one division or the other. With the exception of Tee Ball and Challenger Division, games played within the division during the regular season count for the purposes of standings (“division games”), and games played against the other division do not (“non-division” games). All-Star teams are formed by Orange or Tangerine division. There are occasional exceptions in Junior League where all games played are considered dvision games.
