Why is lemons slang for smut on fanfiction?
It’s probably true w/ other stuff too, that’s just what I know it from. Explicit sex stories in general, especially contained by anime fan fiction, are known as lemon, lemony-goodness, and lemonade, a term which comes from a Japanese slang possession meaning sexy that itself derives from an early pornographic cartoon series call Cream Lemon.
