First and foremost, Marx’s opinions are not completely null and void today. Karl Marx carries a negatively charged connotation because of the role his works have played in shaping history – in reality, many of the governments who lay clam to Marx’s ideologies, he could not recognize as legitimate. Karl Marx believed in democracy, the form of government. He recognized the United States as the best possible form of government/economy, given our reality. I feel like that must be stated in relation to Marx, as many people are willing to simply dismiss his writings as “Evil”, “Commie”, and “Anti-American” due to general US sentiment.
