If your battery is losing its charge overnight then you probably need a new battery. Running a vehicle with the positive cable disconnected can damage your alternator and is never recommended. Take it to an auto parts store, and they will run a charging system check, usually for free. AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts do this for sure.  more

you should check your battery cables & see if they need to be cleaned

have your battery check to see if it's still good

if these other 's aren't the problem then have your alternator checked
