Why is my peace lily plant going brown?!?

0

Peace lily flowers do last quite a long time, often forming seeds if they’ve been pollinated, which uses up a lot of energy and is best avoided by removing their spent flowers. They like a moist humid environment, and yours may have suffered from winter indoor heating drying it out, and the flowers may now just be at the end of their lives. This coupled with any spring sunlight, which is more intense and drying, are potential causes. If your plant is getting a lot of direct sunlight, move it to somewhere where it’s just shaded and getting indirect light. You can increase humidity around it by standing the pot onto a saucer etc with some pebbles in it, filled with water that’s below the level of the bottom of the pot. It won’t like sitting in water, but the water will evaporate around your plant continuously, which your plant will appreciate. This is more beneficial than an occasional misting, which produces temporary benefits. With an alternative location and increased humidity levels
