The International Mystery Writers’ Festival starts Wednesday and runs through August 16. The biggest mystery about the festival is where it’s being held: Owensboro, Kentucky. Excuse me? Furthermore, this would be the third Mystery Writers’ Festival held in Owensboro. How did Owensboro Kentucky become the mystery writers capital of the world?
