Why is supplementing with humic acids necessary?

0

Because current farming and gardening practices don’t allow for all plant materials to be returned back to soil humus, some type of stable humus needs to be added. Often all of the plant material is taken from the fields for our own energy needs. This practice starves the microbes and reduces the populations in the soil. If this cycle continues for several years the soil organic matter and microbe populations are reduced creating a hard, dead soil.
