Why is taxation better than representation?

Robbort Steve

Taxation actually raises money.  This can be good if the money is spent for public improvements.  But rulers also spend money on wars and palaces that the people may not want. The American colonists protested taxation without representation in Parliament.

Since representation decides how and where the monies extorted by force from you by your government will be spent, suggesting that taxation is better than representation is as silly as asserting that losing your money is better than knowing where it went.
