Our gateways work with almost any computer, as long as you have an Ethernet, USB, or, in some cases, parallel port (see Technical Specifications for details). Third. The DIRECTV DSL gateway is reliable. We design and manufacture it ourselves, so we make extra sure it works smoothly and reliably with our network. Also, because it is separate from your computer, you can keep your gateway on even when you turn off your computer.
