Why is the freezer section on my zanussi fridge freezer not working?

My freezer section on my zanussi Intelliset fridge freezer is not working. The warning light has been lit a couple of times recently and now the freezer just doesn’t work at all. The fridge bit is ‘cool’ but not at a correct temperature. I have tried resetting the alarm and turning it off for a while but nothing helps. What could be wrong?
