Why is the location arrow indicator always on in the status bar on my iPhone?
The location arrow indicates that Mobeo is currently tracking your location. However, when you are not moving, the GPS is not on. The algorithm uses cell towers to estimate your current location which reduces the battery usage significantly. Please do not be alarmed if the location arrow is on after you have closed Mobeo. This is expected behaviour. Battery usage in this case is minimal if you are stopped in the same location for any period of time. This allows gameplay to continue even when you do not have the app open. The GPS on your phone only becomes active after you have moved a significant distance from your last location and stops when you stop.
