The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may also illuminate to indicate that there is a malfunction in the DPF or that the Automatic Regeneration process has been interrupted. If the MIL remains on for longer than four ignition cycles since the DPF lamp has turned off (ie. the vehicle engine has been started and stopped more than 4 times), the vehicle must be taken to an authorised Holden Dealer as soon as possible.
