Why is the Transcription Tab no longer available (ie. History & Physical, Discharge Summary, Consultation, 2D Echo, Cardiac Cath)?
Transcription Tab was removed with the Feb. 11, 2008 upgrade to 12.0.2, because of the feedback we have received from physicians and their office staff regarding: Transcription is only on the transcription tab for 60 days; Transcription is not updated after the physician signs and/or modifies the document; Transcription is always the original document; Affect on patient care; We were not able to increase the number of days and import the updated documents after the physician signs/modifies; The Medical Records Tab will have the Transcription available after the document is typed. It will also be updated when the physician signs/modifies a document.
