Why is the wedge pulley centerline angled across the front of the cooler?
This allows the wedge profile edge to run parallel to the face of the cooler. Resulting in a smooth consistent, uniform row of bottles to transfer from the delivery conveyor and onto the cooler chain. The angle of the wedge is determined by the offset distance of the wedges shortest and longest finger.
