Why is the weight of my pandeiro different than whats mentioned on the site?
The weights listed on the site are approximate. Wood and skin density varies from instrument to instrument, so there will always be a slight difference in weight from pandeiro to pandeiro, even of the same model. That said, the weights listed on the site give a good indication of differences between the pandeiros and they should be accurate within 10 – 20 grams (more or less) in either direction.
