Why is there a delay from the time I connect my Ringboxx to my computer to when it shows as “Connected”?
When you connect the Ringboxx to your PC there is first a delay as the PC operating system queries the Ringboxx, establishes the USB connection and then subsequently mounts the Ringboxx as an attached mass storage device. There is a second delay as the HPT PC application software periodically checks the PC operating system for the presence of a Ringboxx and then updates its connection information. The PC application checks about once every four seconds which can appear as additional delay from the time that the Ringboxx is first connected.
