Why is traffic so bad near the existing Big Box Stores?

A. The Big Box stores have killed off the neighborhood stores. Now instead of walking or driving a short distance, shoppers drive clear across the island to the centralized Big Box Store. In our case, that means the Dairy Road area has become a traffic nightmare. These huge stores create huge traffic jams. We don’t need any more traffic. Increased traffic means more wear and tear on infrastructure; it means more infrastructure needs to be built; which means more cost to the County.
