If the Vodafone Mobile Connect closes unexpectedly, control of WLAN may not be given back to Windows XP as it should. In this case, it will not be possible to connect to WLAN without the Vodafone Mobile Connect until the checkbox “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings” in the properties of the WLAN connection in Windows XP has been selected.
