Why is Yahoo member Directory not working?

I’ve been dropping in at Yahoo! answers now and then to see if anybody has made any headway with this. It would appear that the Member Directory is more or less permanently busted. If it were possible to fix it, they surely would have done so by now. I have found, though, that you can still do a search from your Yahoo! 360 page, if you made that move from your regular profile. The search categories aren’t as good as in the Member Directory, but at least it works. If you haven’t switched from a regular profile to Yahoo! 360, I would suggest you do it with a new account. Yahoo! 360 is a real pain, and you can’t switch back to a regular profile.
