Why isn’t 5-HTP in the Base Formula with the L-Tyrosine?
The 5-HTP is in a separate bottle called “5-HTP Serotonin Support” for two reasons: 1. Not everybody needs and/or reacts well to both ingredients. Therefore, by having them in separate bottles, people have the ability to take just one of them if they need to. 2. 5-HTP and L-Tyrosine (Base Formula) should not be taken simultaneously as they will fight for absorption in the digestive system. They need to be taken 4-6 hours apart from each other in order to achieve maximum benefit from both Amino Acids.
