Why isn building a ramp being considered?
Tips and helpful reminders: How many spaces will be impacted during construction? Current estimates are that the student union project will result in the loss of 280 parking spaces and the Children’s Center project an additional 125 spaces. What changes are occurring due to the loss of spaces? Permit parking within the parking lots will be reconfigured. Hibbard, Phillips and Nursing will be faculty and staff permit parking only. Hibbard will remain signed as is while Phillips will have designated GF, F and carpool spaces and Nursing will be GF. The Water Street and Haas Fine Arts lots will have designated F or S spaces and will no longer be F/S. Due to the increased demand in parking spaces in the Water Street and HFA lots, GF parking spaces will be added to the Water Street lot.
