Why isn there a “grumpy old man and woman” section on YA?
That would be the fault of the PC Brigade – Not allowed to cut trees down to make a den coz it endangers the environment – can’t use boxes to make toys coz you have to recycle – not allowed contact sports in school, so no cuts and bumps and bruises – so they also don’t play them in the streets or at the local park. Imagination went out of the window with the advent of games consoles and computers – As for the good old traditional sunday lunch – that went the way of the dinosaur when the government allowed Sunday Store Opening – people are now at work more often than not.
