Why Japanese worshipping SUN as their god?

0

We do not worship the sun as our god. Our country is the land of the rising sun because it was named that by a bunch of important Chinese guys back way back in history. (I really don’t want to go into details. Research it if you’re willing to take the time.) However, Shintoism does have a sun god called Amaterasu. Religion is such a small thing in Japan that not very many people worship anything.

Sun worship was widespread in the past throughout the known world. Actually nowadays the Japanese do not worship the sun. Men prefer to worship baseball whereas women are attracted to the Louis Vuitton deity.

Many religions started out as sun worshippers. In fact, the halo that the christians “borrowed” from the pagans was a symbol of the sun.

The Japanese worship Nature-the Shinto religion. The sun is obviously important to them, but it figures on their flag because the sun rising in the east is symbolic of Japan’s rise in the east as a world power.
