WHY NOT JUST JOIN AN LGBT CLUB OR ACTIVIST GROUP?
You can do both! Other organizations like the Pride Student Union, Queer Activist Collective, and Out and About do amazing social, service, and activist work within the UF and Gainesville community. You are encouraged to join as many groups as you would like, and without their existence, DLP may not be succeeding as it is today. DLP, however, fills a niche that had been unfilled until 1986 – providing a place for gay men to have purposeful and dignified social, service and recreational activities. Delta Lambda Phi was founded to provide gay men a forum in which to form quality, lifelong friendships with other gay men, a place to find brotherhood.
