Due to the location of Westminster we have an extremely high density of traffic. The Congestion Charge has made some progress in tackling congestion and the Low Emissions Zone will tackle the most polluting vehicles. Encouraging electric car use is another one of the ways that we can help to reduce air pollution. Changing people’s car purchasing habits is the long term goal.
