Olive oil is high in mono-unsaturated fat which can effectively stimulate the liver to secrete bile as compared to other oils. If you are allergic to olive oil (which is very rare), you may use cold-pressed sunflower oil, sesame oil or clear macadamia oil instead. Some have claimed discomfort after using coconut oil. Strictly do not use canola or any similar processed oils.
