Why publish aerial photos on some major fires?

We often get a much better mental image of a scene by seeing it from afar. Photography from a very high point therefore allows us to see a site completely to better size the magnitude of the situation. Hence I sometimes take aerial photographs from the basket of ladder-truck 401 (in Saint-Hyacinthe), or from other elevation trucks available on scene.
