Why Recycle Childrens Books?

0

Many families have childrens books which their children have outgrown and which could be put to good use by children whose families cannot afford to buy books for them. Many of the children in day care programs come from families that cannot afford to buy books. Because of this, many of these children are not exposed to books at an early age and therefore have more trouble in school later in life and find it difficult to keep up with their more fortunate classmates. By providing the books to the daycare center, the children will have access to the books and will have the opportunity to develop the same skills as their peers.
