Why should I use CottageCares system instead of a steam clean method?
A wet method of carpet cleaning must first liquefy and dissolve the soil in the carpet before retrieving it. Of the gallons of water that is used in steam cleaning, studies show that only 60-85% can be removed, leaving the rest in the carpet. In other words, if 10 gallons of water is used in a room, 3-4 gallons of liquid will be left in the carpet. When you look in the tank and see the dirty water, you must remember the 3-4 gallons of water left in the carpet contain the same dirty residues. As the carpet dries some of that dirt and cleaning chemical may come back to the surface. CottageCare’s system works on a different principle. We use thousands of tiny sponges that are dampened with just the right amount of moisture – less than 2 tablespoons per square yard – and cleaning ingredients. This allows us to keep control of all of the moisture in the carpet at all times, and allows us to retrieve all of the dirt and residues during the cleaning so that little – if anything – is left behi
