A. Four big reasons are: facility design, microphones, outboard gear and experience. While Snugfit Studio is in a home, special modifications and sound treatments will give a much truer recording, and mixes will translate much better, because you will not be constantly compensating for uncontrolled reflections. Also, here I have 5 separate and isolated spaces to record in, so we can keep the bass guitar out of the drums, drums out of the guitars, and everything but the vocals out of the vocal track, even when recording entirely LIVE. Being able to record the whole band live can capture excitement that is often lacking in recordings that are built up one track at a time.
