Why shouldnt anyone be blamed for the Dust bowl that occured during the 1930s?

No one person can be blamed. The dust bowl was the result of a combination of atmospheric conditions and many years of bad farming practices by thousands of people, many of whom were new to this country and had no knowledge of the flat terrain and weather patterns. Thus clear cutting of the few trees in the area and leaving plowed land open to the elements, excessive cultivating of all open land and failure to plant the fields with crops that would hold the soil in place after grain harvesting led to the disaster. Ignorance i and greed are the major culprits of the dust bowl.
