Why shouldnt marijuana a stimulant be legalized when alcohol a depressant is legal?
I don’t think marijuana is a good thing. I used to smoke and I promise you it is bad. Marijuana should be legal because in a free society, which we are not in, people make choices like this for themselves. Let me get this straight, a woman has a right to kill her unborn child but doesn’t have a right to put a non-lethal drug in her system that only harms herself. We live in a Democracy so because a lot of people think pot is bad they can dictate this to you. This country used to be a Republic and the federal government had no such powers of subjugation back then. Here is natural progression of government powers as they take rights from the people. Republic is the beginning, then it becomes Democracy, which must become Socialism, then the final result is Communism. Get it? We have been a Democracy since the early 1930’s with seeping New Deal legislation. Now under the Patriot Act we are truly a Socialist state.
