Why so much hate towards jews and Christians in the Quran?
How are you a Muslim and say there is no truth in Islam? I am friends with Christians and Jews, and we can marry Christians and Jews, and we are allowed to eat the meat of theirs… I obviously am not as close to my Christian/Jewish friends as I am with Muslims because they obviously don’t understand my lifestyle 100%. It’s common sense. Explain these HORRIBLE VERSES OF HATE: Not all of them are alike; a party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the Verses of God during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin Al-Ma’rûf and forbid Al-Munkar ; and they hasten in (all) good works; and they are among the righteous. My honest opinion is that the quran states what it does because it was written not by God, but by Muhammed and in order for him to bring this new religion to people he had to make the other two major religions look bad. The quran has some good passages in it about Christians and Jews, but it also has some bad and contradicting passages. The proofs of the bible can be backed up from the thousands of documents found since that time, but the quran cannot be. Personally I could care less if Muhammed wrote the quran and brought a new religion as long as it does not besmirch the Torah and the Bible, call Jews and Christians evil, apes, dogs, and tell lies about the true word of God. I also don’t have a problem with Muslims, at least the true, devout ones who follow the message of love, peace and charity and do not act superior to others. Qur’anic verses regarding Jews and Christians have been misinterpreted and/or taken out of context by some Muslims who hate them. Allah The Most High makes it clear that Satan is the enemy. The life of a devout, practicing Muslim does not involve hating Jews, Christians, and other non-Muslims. It involves worshiping Allah The Most High, offering Him sincere devotion, keeping up regular prayer, being active in charitable deeds, and obeying His Laws, Directives, and Commandments. My parents, who were devout Christians, never once corrupted my mind against Jews (or followers of other faith traditions, for that matter). As a devout, practicing Muslim, my mind is still not corrupted against them. We must be anti-Satan, not anti-Jew. We must also keep in mind that not all Palestinians are Muslims. There are Palestinian Christians who are also in grave danger. It’s the western media who always seem to focus a lot on Palestinian Muslims.
