Why the humidity thermometer showed normal, but the orchid plants also died?
A6: About the moisture, we often pay attention it to the air humidity percentage. The orchid cultivations are at our home or nurseries. So, we have to check the moisture IN POTS, even the media of materials kept water. It is very important more than the humidity in the air at home or nurseries. Here, to pleasure to show like a one’s culture, put the humidity thermometer beside pots. It measured a result, which isn’t in pot. Often we only pay attention in the measured humidity, so someone couldn’t get a good growing. But, I only check for all of growing materials kept water in pots. In the air also, don’t has too high humidity for cultures, if it’s raising to 100%, the plants couldn’t transpiration and respiration good (see Q14). Picture 6, The humidity thermometer was put beside pots of orchid plants. It checked and measured a percentage humidity which showed the air moisture, but not in pot moisture.
