they said that they could have called them fashion frenzies or girrlz or girlfriendz but the creator Carter Bryant had the name bratz in mind in fact carter bryant use to work for mattle the people who made barbie and while he was there mattle had a line of fashion dolls out in 2000 one year before bratz and the line that mattle had was about to be called bratz but instead they called it DivaStarz.
