Normally thermosetting acrylic for can coating has lower cost than saturated polyester. Saturated polyester has better mechanical properties ,good adhesion ,good chemical resistance and cured with isocyanates. The disadvantage of saturated polyester is the price. Moreover, it shows superficial defects (craters,etc..) due to possible contaminations during its application.
