Why ufology is incompatible with religion?
I don’t think it is incompatible with all religions. With the ones that believe in creationism, it is because it’s generally not in the holy books that supposedly contain all the answers. Coral Ridge has a pod cast that talks about why there can’t be life on other planets according to the bible- and it’s because they believe God made us special (well, that’s what they said!) And belief in evolution and extra terrestrial life means you don’t think we’re special. On another vein, there are some religious people who discourage belief in any supernatural thing besides God. Thus, no Santa, no Easter Bunny, and no E.T. Too much of that might make confuse us and make us doubt whether or not God really exists.
