Why use an eight bolt clamping system instead of traditional four bolt clamp?

More support for the bar and less stress on the bolts. Clamps rarely fail in testing, but bolts often do. This is directly related to bolt size and depth. Our 6mm 8 bolt configuration requires less torque for more grip giving you a more reliable, more supportive clamp for your bar. The DST “wing” shape to the clamps provides additional surface area and support in the most heavily cycled direction. Using our Top Lock™ design you can set 4 of the bolts’ torque spec and have just the right friction to fine tune your bar position prior to setting the torque on the last four – it’s actually easier, quicker, and much more effective than chasing around the bolts to try and gain equal clamp spacing on four bolt systems.
