Why Use Free Templates with PowerPoint 2007?
One of the problems with using the same templates repeatedly is that you risk boring your audience. When giving any type of presentation, you want to draw your listeners in to what you are saying. Boring props and overused PowerPoint templates are a sure way to turn your audience off to your message. In fact, many of the templates that ship with PowerPoint are too generic to be used for a specific presentation. Their abstract shapes and gradient colors are repetitive and boring. In many situations, several presentations are delivered back to back. If you use the same old templates that ship with PowerPoint, you risk using one that was used before you. Psychologically, your audience will associate you presentation with the one that previously used the same PowerPoint template.
