Why Visual Basic?
Visual Basic is often the language of choice for small to medium sized programs that require interactive user interfaces, such as data entry and retrieval, reporting, database access, and communications. In larger systems, Visual Basic is often the language of choice for the user interface portion even though the core may be implemented in something else like C++. This is because it is much faster and easier to develop user interfaces in Visual Basic than most other languages.
